The booking thread for an airport-hotel session
The booking thread is the written conversation in which a booking is asked for, agreed and confirmed, and the only place payment details ever appear.
Every booking lives in a single written conversation, referred to on this site as the booking thread. It begins with the guest's first message and holds everything that follows: the hour, the length, the therapist, the journey time, the deposit, the room details and the moment she is close.
What goes in the first message
For an airport hotel: the full name of the hotel and whether it is in Schiphol, Schiphol-Rijk or Schiphol-Oost; the day and the hour; the length; the format; and the therapist, with a second choice. The room number can wait until the arrival is close.
Why everything stays in one place
A single thread means nothing is lost between messages, and both sides can scroll back to see what was agreed. It also means the payment details for the deposit appear in one place only. If a guest ever sees payment details anywhere else, they are not from the house.
The same-day line
When a session is on the same day as the booking, the guest writes in the thread that he wants it performed at once and understands that the fourteen-day withdrawal right will not apply once it has been performed. It is one sentence, and it sits in the thread with everything else.
Changes
Any change, from a later hour to a cancellation, goes into the same thread, as early as possible. The time a message arrives is the time used for the notice scale.
