The deposit on an airport-hotel booking
The deposit is half the fee, paid before she sets out. Every airport-hotel booking carries one, as do first bookings and most bookings made a day ahead.
A deposit is the first half of the fee, paid once the time is agreed and before the therapist sets out. It is not a security held separately and handed back later; it is part of the payment, and the second half is paid at the door.
When a deposit applies
Half goes ahead on seven kinds of booking:
- a booking made more than twenty-four hours before it starts;
- an overnight of eight hours;
- any booking with two therapists;
- any booking at Schiphol or at an airport hotel;
- a peak date, such as King's Day, Pride, the Amsterdam Dance Event, the stretch from Christmas to New Year, or a large conference week;
- any session of three hours or more;
- a client's first booking with the house.
For a guest in an airport hotel, the fourth item settles it: every airport booking carries a deposit, whatever else is true.
How much goes ahead
Exactly half of what the booking costs, whether that is one hour, ninety minutes, an evening of three hours or the whole night by the runway. For two therapists or a couple the share does not change: half of the larger figure that applies, as shown in each profile.
How it is paid
Card is the usual route, with Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency for those who prefer them. PayPal and bank transfer play no part. Cash cannot be a deposit, because a deposit is settled before she leaves and cash only changes hands in the room. The exact amount and the payment details appear in the booking thread and nowhere else.
